Review: Arjen Anthony Lucassen-Lost In The New Real (2 CD/LP Set) → muzikreviews.com

Arjen Anthony Lucassen

has a reputation for producing massive rock operas with guest artists from all over the world that populate the progressive and metal arenas. He has always wanted to do his own solo album while handling all the lead vocals. He also plays nearly every instrument. The time has arrived and so has the two album set Lost In The New Real.

Review: Hardline-Danger Zone → muzikreviews.com

In 1991 brothers Johnny and Joey Gioeli (who were already highly successful in their own bands) joined forces and created Hardline. Neal Schon, who originally was producing the band, enjoyed them so much he joined the band. Hardline did well, charting on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

Review: Circus Maximus-Nine  → muzikreviews.com

Picking a good band name isn’t always easy. It should reflect the sound, grab one’s attention, and not be too ridiculous (unless everything about you is). Circus Maximus hits the mark, borrowing from the Roman Empire. Romans were metal people.

Review: Slash-Featurng Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators Apocalyptic Love (Deluxe Edition) → muzikreviews.com

There are certain names that go hand in hand with the word rock star. Bowie, Jagger, Springsteen - names like that are instantly recognizable. With the passing of time we add more to the list and one of those is Slash (Saul Hudson). He made his mark with Guns N’ Roses, a much celebrated solo career, and appearing as a special guest on many albums produced by other rock icons.

Hip Hop/Rap Review 2bers-Dig → muzikreviews.com

You know, as a critic I have to say it is much easier to review music that I don’t enjoy. The entire time I’m listening to the horrid tracks I’m justifying why I don’t like them. I’m saying things in my head like “ugh, why did they do that?” or “that’s really underworked.” Such albums are much easier to review than Dig by the Alternative Hip-Hop duo, 2bers.

Check Out Our Latest Weekly Featured Artist Interstate Buffalo → muzikreviews.com

Interstate Buffalo conjures images of powerful stampeding animals across the highways of America. If there was one way to explain what this band sounds like…well let’s just say the did well by choosing such a name. Their music is a mirror image of their name, it comes at your hard and fast with plenty of high powered engines and some fuel left in the reserve tank. If you like blues and rock and some funk thrown in for good measure, this band will turn the lights on.

Review: No End of Now-Some Music We Made → muzikreviews.com

When a band’s sound is explained by fans with such descriptions as “psychedelic fusion” and “What the hell was that? That was cool,” it is hard not to get excited about these guys new album.  Fronted by Rex Shepherd and accompanied by John Tschirhart, and Jason Stander, No End of Now is a musical experience like no other.
